Cryptids - WIP Demo ver. 0.1

A demo of an RPG Maker VX Ace game I am making.

No combat. This is a text heavy look around and interact with the environment type of game. Look around and see if you can figure out more about your cryptid "neighbors". There is no "ending" to this demo but there are a total of 5 cryptids to find. Any comments and feedback are appreciated!

Installation notes

• Because this is made in VX Ace, you cannot play in browser.
• You will need to download the file and extract the file (by clicking on it).
• Once you have extracted the game files, click on the file that is created entitled "Cryptids". To play the game just click on the dragon icon.

Game Tips

• This game can be kinda confusing, partially because its an Alpha build and the directions are not completely clear. 
• Please refer to @ruderubicante's post (linked below) for some tips as the game is inspired by that post. 
• The cryptids in this demo are: Mothman, Kelpie, Vampire, Lindworm, and Fae.

Known Bugs (updated 9/9/18)

• After the scarecrow is destroyed and player creates a new scarecrow, the scarecrow will sometimes appear at the lake even though its not supposed to be. This should not affect the quest progression. (message me if it does, if you are getting stuck on this area, consider grabbing a sleeping bag)
